Portfolio of Works
This collection of original oil paintings is inspired by the lakes, waterways, and landscapes of Wisconsin and the Midwest. I’m especially drawn to quiet water, reflections, changing skies, and familiar places transformed by light. Whether painted in the studio or outdoors en plein air, these landscapes reflect my love of peaceful scenes and the sense of calm and belonging I find near the water.
This collection of original oil paintings is inspired by the architecture, villages, and landscapes of Europe, particularly France and Italy. From sun-washed Mediterranean villages to quiet streets, historic buildings, and coastal views, I’m drawn to places shaped by light, history, and a sense of timelessness. Many of these paintings are inspired by places I’ve known and traveled, capturing the atmosphere and beauty that made me want to remember them.
My floral and still life paintings are inspired by the quiet beauty of everyday objects and flowers, often painted directly from life. I’m especially drawn to the way light moves across petals, glass, and reflective surfaces, creating subtle shifts in color and atmosphere. These original oil paintings celebrate simple, familiar subjects and the beauty found in slowing down to notice them.
